Unusual friendship between surikatit and being

Poppy dog, surikati (or meerkat) Timon is more than a simple cat. The couple lives with owners John Bent and his wife Sally in Dronfield, Derbyshire, and are almost inseparable.

They vendoën their unusual friendship as Timon, 4, left surikatët other zoo do.
And although their house has a cat, Timon immediately made a special bond with the dog Poppy.

The pair already playing with each other, washed and drawn together for walks together.

"They are inseparable. They eat each other's food but never angry. Surikatët many stick with their own kind but Timon is different," said 62-year-old Bent.
